Viewing survival curves of a date or numeric column broken down by values of another column

Survival curves provide a compact visual summary of a survival times. To view a survival curve of a date or numeric column broken down by the values of another column:

  1. In the Summary view, select the column whose survival curve you wish to view
  2. Ensure the column is being treated as survival times (Column > Treat Column Data As > Survival Times)
  3. In the Covariate table, select the column whose values you wish to group by
  4. One or more survival curves will appear in the covariate view

If the covariate is a category column, and there are only two categories to display, both curves will be plotted on a single chart. Otherwise, curves will be plotted on separate axes.
