About data filters

Data filters are criteria that can be used to hone in on a subset of a table’s data. When data filters are applied to a table, all views, calculations, and models apply only to the filtered data. In addition, Wizard’s export functions will exclude data that has been filtered out.

Data filters might be used to:

Up to six data filters can be applied at a time; each filter can select one or more category values, numeric ranges, or date ranges to display. Numeric ranges can be defined as quantiles, fixed-width intervals, or custom intervals. Text ranges can be defined with quantiles (groups of equal size), a common prefix, or custom cutoff values.
