Computing the quantiles of a numeric column

Quantiles reflect relative rather than absolute values, and can be used to create categorical bins for a numeric column of interest. To compute the quantile of each record in a numeric column:

1. In the Summary view, select the column whose quantiles you wish to compute
2. Choose Column > Compute Quantiles, and choose the number of quantiles you wish to compute

The name of the resulting column is fixed, but you can give the new column a title of your choosing.
