Viewing, sorting, and editing a data table

About the Raw Data view
The Raw Data view lets you inspect, sort, and filter a table’s columns and rows

Adding rows to a table
Add rows by clicking the Edit button in the Raw Data view, then clicking Add Row

Copying data in the Raw Data view to a new table
Copy data from the Raw Data view to work with a subset of data or a flattened version of data

Creating a data column
Create a new text, numeric, or date column from the Raw Data view

Creating an empty table
Create an empty table from the Table menu

Deleting a column from a table
Delete column from the Raw Data view, or from the Summary view

Displaying category labels in the Raw Data view
Use the checkbox in the bottom right of the Raw Data view to display category labels instead of raw values

Dropping rows from a table
Drop rows by clicking the Edit button in the Raw Data view, then clicking Drop Rows

Duplicating a column within a table
Duplicate columns from the Raw Data view, or from the Summary view

Editing data in the Raw Data view
Edit a cell value by clicking the Edit button then double-clicking the cell

Filtering columns in the Raw Data view
Use the search box to find columns of interest in a large table

Sorting data in the Raw Data view
Sort by individual columns by clicking the column header
