Editing the link between a table and a data source

After importing from a file or database server, you may wish to configure how a table refreshes its data from the linked data source. For example, you may want to exclude certain columns from the Refresh process, or limit the number of rows that are imported.

To edit the link between table and a data source:

1. Choose Table > Edit Link to Data Source…
2. Select a file or database server (or use the existing source), and click Next
3. Use the controls to configure the link, and click Save Link when you are finished
